Summer Job Descriptions and Expectations

Building Blocks is looking for committed, friendly, and engaging adults to work our summer
camp. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing a classroom of students and
teaching lesson plans provided by the Director, assisting in a classroom as a secondary,
developing and leading Enrichment activities, and playing with students during recreational
activities.

Full Time Employment
Shift 1: 6:45am-3:45pm
Shift 2: 9:30am-6:30pm
Part Time Employment
Part time hours are more flexible but the most needed blocks of time are listed below.
Shift 1: 9am-1pm
Shift 2: 3:30pm-6:30pm

Employment commitments are made weekly. This is to ensure the students have consistency with
their leaders.

Compensation
Starting at $12/hour based on experience.

We provide a fun and safe environment that will encourage academic, social, behavioral, and mental growth. Our staff and mentors will facilitate activities in math, science, ELA, social studies, art, sports, team building, and more!
