Breakout questions

HANDOUT

What did you hear Jeff saying? What were his main points? How would you put it in your
own words?

What do you wonder? What questions came up for you?

We have said each week that we believe that Christians are called to a kind of unity that
goes beyond mere agreement. Do you agree? If so, how can you contribute to that kind
of unity?

How will you practice what you’ve learned in this Difficult Conversations course in your
real life? What real life relationships at SAPC or in your family or workplace would
benefit from these practices? How can your group help you with this?

How might the keeping your eyes on Jesus while running your race imagery from
Hebrews 12 be helpful in implementing our new skillset in Difficult Conversations?

At the end of the session: What was surprising about this dialogue? What did you
understand in a new way? What will you take with you?
